The Blue Ridge & High Country
Blue Ridge Mountain Wedding Videographer
Ridges, fog, overlooks and small ceremonies at the end of long gravel roads. This is the work I know best.
Filming in the North Carolina mountains
Mountain weddings are not just weddings with a view. The light moves faster, the roads take longer, and the weather has opinions. Filming here well means planning for three versions of the day and staying calm when the second one shows up.
I film full wedding days, small ceremonies and Parkway elopements across the Blue Ridge — from Grandfather Mountain and Linville down toward Asheville, and north through Boone, Todd and West Jefferson.
If your ceremony needs a permit, a hike, or a sunrise start, tell me early. Those are usually the best films I make all year.
Common questions
Do you film elopements on the Blue Ridge Parkway?
Yes, and they're some of my favourite days. The Parkway requires a special-use permit for ceremonies, and I'll point you to the right form and help you pick a location that isn't crowded at sunrise.
How far into the mountains will you travel?
Anywhere in western North Carolina, plus the rest of the Southeast US and destinations. Travel is included for most of the Blue Ridge.
